I've had this necklace for a few years now, and it has held up WONDERFULLY through daily and nightly wear. I actually just ordered and received an extra, a backup for special occasions, as I myself overfilled the compartment initially, so the screw was/is not flush. Make sure you only add the tiniest bit of ashes to it, that's all you need! The loveliest, little sentimental, wearable trinket. Reminds me of my bunny that hopped over the rainbow bridge, and holds her close to me, every single day.
